STATE OF DECAY 2 MODS AND COOP MOD
Note: When you reach level 4 and 5 the additional Mod is more likely to be a Facility Mod, but there's a chance that you'll receive a Muzzle Mod instead. The higher the level you reach in a session, the more items you'll get.Īs the Table shows, you won't get completely different rewards on each level, but more items will be added to the previous levels' rewards. Note: If you manage to reach Level 5 re-join the Host's game to restart your level progression, since gaining more than 1750 Influence will not earn you additional items. You'll receive every unclaimed reward at once when entering your own community. Multiplayer Rewards never expire so you don't have to claim them after every multiplayer session. The items will be delivered directly into your Locker. To claim your Multiplayer Rewards simply return to your own Campaign with the community you used to help the other player out.

Your level progression gets reset, meaning that every time you join someone's game (even if you join the same person you played with previously) you'll always start from Level 0. You won't earn Multiplayer Rewards by playing Daybreak since you don't gain any Influence in that gamemode.Įvery time you quit (or get disconnected) from the host's game, you'll be rewarded with items appropriate to the Level you were at when disconnecting. To reach higher levels you must gain Influence in the host's game. Playing the Campaign or Heartland as a Client (either by matchmaking or joining friends), you'll receive Multiplayer Rewards for helping out the Host. So, guests might not reap as many rewards as the hosts, but there’s still plenty incentives to play multiplayer co-op.Multiplayer Rewards Multiplayer Rewards are given to Clients for helping out other players in co-op. Last, but not least, achievement progression from the multiplayer carries over into the single player. Every player will receive their own color-coded loot that only they can open, and every character will get different loot. Of course, by playing multiplayer co-op in State of Decay 2, you’ll also earn a bunch of loot that will also carry over. You can then use Influence Points in your own campaign to boost your characters (even make community leaders), set up outposts, and so on. That doesn’t mean that you’re doing this for nothing, of course the host won’t reap the only benefits As you play in multiplayer, you’ll earn multiplayer rewards and Renown, or Influence Points. That progress won’t carry over into your game, if you’re playing as a guest. The game you’ll be playing in multiplayer is the host’s “story”, so the story progression, base, and survivor communities are theirs alone.

Progression in State of Decay 2 Co-Op Multiplayer Zombies won’t scale in difficulty, but the lot of you will make a lot of noise, so that balances out. If you die in multiplayer, you die in your campaign as well, so never let your guard down. Lastly, permadeath is still a thing, even if you’re playing in someone else’s game. You can communicate with other people through a communication wheel, like in Sea of Thieves, or Xbox Party Chat. That isn’t too restrictive, and it makes sense, If you stray too far, what’s the point of co-op? Additionally, the host’s stashes will be safe from people dropping into the game and trying to loot the host. The maximum distance you can go cowboy seems to be about 450 meters (a little under 500 yards). For one, you’ll be tethered to the host, meaning you can’t stray to far away from them. There are some important notes when it comes to joining someone else’s game.
